The West African Examinations Council has opened the examiners portal for 2023 WASSCE and BECE.
Examiners who are qualified to grade certain courses such geography, mathematics (core), information and communication technology, social studies, cost accounting principles, and graphic design have access to this year’s portal.
To finish the registration process, the candidate must make sure that all of the following steps have been taken.
HOW TO APPLY
For Registration process to be complete, applicant needs to make sure all the following process have been completed
- Sign Up: Fill out the sign-up form with the information needed, and a password will be made for the candidate to use to sign in. All fields must be filled out for this to work.
- Sign In: Applicants need to use the password they got by text message or email to sign in.
- Finish registering: Fill out the form as shown to finish the signup process. The form for signing up has been set up in
- Personal Profile is needed.
- Educational Qualification is a necessary field.
- A necessary area is teaching/work experience.
- Examining Experience is not a requirement, but it is a plus.
- Bio Data: This needs a picture of the applicant from his or her passport and a scanned copy of a letter from a reference.
- Use the Next and Previous buttons to get where you need to go in the registration process.
- Accept the terms and conditions and look over the application to make sure all the information is right before sending it.
4. Apply to Mark: This is where the applicant asks to mark a certain topic by choosing the test type, the subject, and the choice. At this point, someone who wants to mark has applied to mark.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
- Possess a minimum of first degree or its equivalent in a field related to the subject he/she wishes to examine;
- Have at least two years of work beyond teaching.
- Have a good understanding of the subject he or she wants to test on. Fill out the registration form.
- He or she must be a person of high morals, so his or her present boss must attest to his or her character.
