WAEC releases a list of the best overall WASSCE students from 2006 to 2022.

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has published a list of all Overall Best WASSCE candidates from 2006 in preparation for the 2023 Distinction Awards Ceremony, which will honor students who excelled in the 2022 WASSCE.

The West African Examinations Council Endowment Fund (WEF) launched the Distinction Awards event for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination for School. It is held each year to honor the top students from the previous WASSCE.

Awards are given by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) Endowment Fund (WEF) to students who excel in the Council’s examinations for Senior High School (SHS) applicants.

Candidates who performed the best overall in the WASSCE include: 1. Wadee Nana Ama Kuntuah from Wesley Girls’ High School in Cape Coast

2. Akoi Kwame from Achimota SHS in 2007

3. Asafo-Adjei Priscilla from St. Louis SHS in Kumasi, 2008.

Adu-Poku Frank from Presbyterian Boys’ SHS in Legon in 2009

6. 2011 Sakyi Ann Abena Antwiwaa from Cape Coast’s Wesley Girls’ High School

7. 2012 Pah-Kordieh Yvette, Cape Coast’s Wesley Girls’ High School
